A few weeks ago, the world lost not necessarily a great person, but a great basketball player. I'm talking about Kobe Bean Bryant (1978-2020). Kobe spent his entire basketball career with the Los Angeles Lakers. I was a Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks fan in my youth, but I digress... Was Kobe the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time), or does that title and crown belong to Lebron James or Micheal Jordan? In my opinion, Michael Jordan, but whomever you support, the passing of Kobe Bryant alongside his 13 year old daughter--Gianna Bryant-- is tragic and heart wrenching. In this episode I give props to a great basketball legend, a young life cut too short, and how Americans talk--or don't talk--about death, funerals, and "kicking the bucket."
